It began in the heart of Iowa with a simple idea, to sell Locally Grown t-shirts at the Des Moines Farmers' Market promoting messages of buying local, eating local, supporting local farmers, and sharing state pride. Today Locally Grown has become a nationally recognized, message-driven lifestyle brand not only creating awareness of where our food and clothes come from but also designing and manufacturing comfortable t-shirts, sweatshirts, and stylish outerwear. Since our early days, we continue to support local and sustainable practices in all aspects of the business by manufacturing all our apparel in the USA with eco-friendly materials in fair and safe working conditions.

We screen print our tees by hand, a traditional printing process and symbol of who we are. We work with passionate artists who meticulously oversee production, capturing the detail and dedication to their work. Our handmade inks result in an incredibly rich, vibrant color library.
We use organic cotton and recycled materials for our eco-friendly apparel and partner with American manufacturers that share our core values of integrity and environmentalism. Organic cotton reduces water use, eliminates GMOs, and protects farmers and their families from harmful chemicals.
We are proud to source and manufacture all of our apparel in the USA with partners who offer fair and safe working conditions.
